Happy April! I thought I’d celebrate the new month & season with some festive bunting! It’s photographed here above my daughter’s crib, but if you’re looking for a pretty way to make your home festive for Easter this weekend, this is a great way to do so!
Hello there! Today I’m going to share a sweet Valentine’s project that I made for my little one. This is for my daughter, but I’m sure that any recipient would love to receive this, with a handmade (or not!) Valentine inside. I’m guessing your valentine might appreciate a gift card for coffee, or maybe a burger? 😉
Happy weekend! Now that Valentine’s day is only two weeks away, I thought I’d share a few love-y projects with you. I’m sharing yet another pillow with you. I’m happy with the way it turned out, and the technique can be transferred to any item that you choose.
Well hello again! I do hope you’re well and enjoying time with your loved ones this holiday season. This week’s project is something you could easily work on with your kiddos if they’re on Christmas vacation. I came up with this pillow because I have a new one year old, so we did not get a tree this year. As much as we’d like to have one, I’d also like to not pull it off my toddler 47 times a day. 😉 Anyway, I thought I’d make her a soft Christmas tree that she can’t destroy or injure herself with,…
Hello! Today’s post is more of an inspirational guide than an actual tutorial. Today I’m sharing some gift tags that I made with fabric & trim. They were super simple, and can be done in any color scheme or theme!
Hi there! This week I’m going to share a project with a few different purposes, all of which are pretty handy around this time of year. It’s main purpose is a fun little ornament that doubles as a frame, but you could use it as a reusable gift tag, or even a luggage tag, too!
You’ve cooked up a dish and it’s piping hot and ready for a potluck. Now you’ve just got to get it there while keeping it warm yet not burning yourself. I know! A casserole carrier!
A cute little basket – just in time for Easter! And I mean just in time for Easter. I should have done this in advance, but here I was, days before Easter, trying to whip up a homemade Easter basket for my almost-2-year-old. For this project, you’ll use strips of fabric wrapped around really pudgy piping. Then you’ll coil the whole thing into a basket.
I love using these fun fabrics for Christmas decorating. You’ve seen them before in these funky Christmas stockings I did a couple of years ago. This wreath is really simple, and there is no sewing involved. Just grab a bunch of fabrics that go together and start cutting and tying!
Maybe you are a Martha Stewart clone and have only the most perfect holiday meals. But at my house, nothing is ever timed right. Everyone is crowding the kitchen and half the food is ready and half is not. Bowl covers can help keep things warm, at least a little bit. You can also make these for summer outdoor eating to keep flies out. Try our cute gingham fabrics for that!
