Matching fabric for a room design!
During this blog I will explain the steps in creating a design flow for my living room projects for upcoming blogs.
PROCEDURE:
First I chose my main fabric for my drapery. This fun fabric is one of the new fabrics at warehousefabricsinc.com called Wayzata Azure priced at $6.98 a yard. I chose this fabric because of the many beautiful colors included in the design.
I could play with all the colors in this print but I will mainly use the blue and orange for my room.
Next, I have two side chairs that are setting in front of the window where the drapery will hang.
I selected Metro Linen Turquoise for this project. The Metro Linen line is a great upholstery fabric. This fabric could also make a great slipcover fabric if I choose to slipcover instead of upholster the chairs.
Now, I will move to accessories such as pillows.
This chevron fabric Grand Reggae Jewel has many of the same colors as the Wayzata Azure does. This fabric will make great throw pillows in the side chairs and the sofa.
This beautiful fabric Luster Peacock will be something in my room but right now I just don’t know what. I just love it! Maybe a throw with a soft faux fur as the lining.
I found a beautiful bird fabric Rockin Robin Coral that flows well with Wayzata Azure that will also be throw pillows.
Stay tuned for upcoming blogs and watch how this fabric design match will make a great room!
