We have a larger-than-twin bed sized alcove in our game room we're remodeling. I had already covered a partial wall with Emory Chocolate over cardboard for a bulletin board. In the alcove, I glued a thin layer of batting to the walls and then covered them with the same fabric (stapled). To cover the staples, I hot glued thick piping of the same fabric around the edges and window. Then I added foam to a twin bed mattress to fit snugly, and covered with the same fabric. The pillows are all Emory pattern in chocolate, blue, and wheat. Pillows all have zippers, and the mattress covering is secured by velcro on three sides for easy removal. (also added new light fixtures and blinds)
