Add some whimsy to a tree skirt!

  During this blog, I will demonstrate how easy it is to add some whimsy to an existing tree skirt!

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will also need a hot glue gun for this project.

 

 

 

PROCEDURE:

 

Once I had my tree decorated with green, blue, and red ornaments the plain red tree skirt just didn’t  look as good as I knew it could. I like whimsy while decorating my tree so I thought why not go with it for my tree skirt also.

 

The first step in adding whimsy is to measure the surface of the tree skirt in which I will add the trim. This eyelash trim comes by the bolt of 10 yard spools which will go a long way in decorating. Great Price at $14.00 per spool!!!

 

  I did this the no sew way which made it sooooooo simple. First I hot glued the turquoise eyelash trim down around the perimeter of the tree skirt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Next add the lime eyelash about a 1/2″ above the turquoise which will put it laying slightly on the top.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Look how cute this made a plain tree skirt!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think this made a plain tree skirt look so much more fun!!!
