Body pillow cover

When I was pregnant with my little one, I eventually got to the point that I needed not one, but two body pillows in order to get any sleep at all. I am no longer pregnant, but I still really like to sleep with a body pillow. Anyway, the cover on my pillow was never pretty to begin with, but after a year & a half of use, it’s really unsightly, so I decided to make my own!

I really like Helen Summerland / Natural and thought it’d be lovely as a cover for the pillow. Let me tell you- it is!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAuntitled-70911.25 yds of Helen Summerland / Natural and a coordinating 20″ zipper.

Start by cutting out two pieces of fabric- 19″ x 49″

untitled-2Pin one side of your zipper to a short end on one of the pieces of fabric, right sides together, then sew together. Repeat with the piece of fabric leftover.
