Our 2019 coordinating 1880s family costumes expressed a somber farewell. With my father-in-law passing away shortly before, we knew the best way to honor his memory was to don traditional mourning ensembles. The Dull Polyester in Black was the perfect, cost effective fabric for this application. The dull sheen was just right for our stage of mourning; it was easy to work with, and didn't show the many tears that flowed while sewing. The Dull Polyester remains one of my favorite, affordable fabrics for costuming; with their many color options, I know I am sure to find at least one that will work well with any project in mind.
