Whether you are part of a church group that makes baby quilts for baptisms, you have several baby showers coming up on your social calendar or you just want to make a quilt for the special baby in your life, our fabric store can help.
We offer whimsical printed quilt panels that are great for novices or people who have limited time and may not be able to easily cut squares. They can be backed with buttery soft minky perfect for snuggling newborns in. The thick minky is dimpled and is available in male, female or gender-neutral shades.
We offer a couple of video pointers for working with the fabric on our website, so be sure to check them out before you delve into your next quilting project.
For more traditional baby quilts or regular adult quilts, we supply a range of classic ginghams in every shade from pastels to primary colors. The gingham provides a nice border print that will coordinate with solids, florals and other patterns.
Solid fabric also is sold in an array of colors, to match any prints you plan on working with, or you can just make quilts out of different shades of the solid fabric for a stained glass effect. This will work especially well if you put vivid shades against a black border.
If you plan on designing a nursery, be sure to check out our baby and children's fabric section to get ideas. You will find plenty of prints to coordinate with your quilt and create matching pillows, wall art and curtains if you wish.
Our website also offers a link to a nursery photo gallery so you can get some contemporary ideas of what is popular in nursery decorating at the moment.
There is an additional photo gallery showcasing some of the many quilts and crafts that have been made from our fabric.
Visit our sample page if you want to order a swatch in advance to see how the fabric will look in person before you buy it.
You might want to also check the fabric remnant page for great deals on available quilting fabrics.
As always, if you are unsure of which prints will work well together, our experienced staff will be happy to make suggestions.
