Cotton Drapery Fabric by the Pound Goody Bag Fabric

I recently ordered two different requests in the same order, and they called me personally to verify my order to make sure I received what I wanted. I really appreciated that! Also, I did request certain colors for a boy's quilt and they were very nice to accommodate that. They do a great job with picking fabrics. Overall, I am very pleased with my orders.

WOW! The only word I can use to describe the fabric I received! I specified my colors (blue, black/white) and design (paisley) and boy! Did this exceed my expectations! The blue check will become cafe curtains and the paisley will become and apron and a tote bag! Cannot wait to get started on these projects and more. Thank you and I will order again and again!

Although I expected the fabrics to be lighter in weight, I ended up with some great pieces that I am using for different projects completely. The fabric I liked the best was one I never would have selected on my own. I'm about to order more!

I ordered the PPLB and wasn’t expecting to be so thrilled!! I was “ok with receiving 2 1/2” squares or strips” is what I said in my message because I’m working on different quilts and also covers for appliances. I checked out most of the fabrics on the site and there are some very nice, some very cool, some very odd, some very scary and some very ummmm “not me” shall we say types of fabrics. So I figured I had a 20% chance of getting something I would love and a 60% chance I’d get something ok and a 20% chance I’d have to burn something (LOL) or strategically place it on a pillow or in a quilt. Well......someone in the warehouse entered my brain because I got like 6 pieces and I LOVE LOVE LOVE 5 of them and strongly like the 6th one. No burning. No hiding. Absolutely thrilled beyond all expectations. Best Fabrics ROCKS!

I'm going to make purses with this beautiful material. It's very colorful and has awesome patterns. I love it. They give you a great selection! There is nothing bad i can say about it.

I was surprised that I actually love each selection. When you order a "goody bag" it's a gamble that you'll get anything you can use. I suggested contemporary designs in blue, tan, or yellow neutrals, and that's what I got. Super!

I got a two pound and later another three pounds, all small pieces. They have great variety and colors. I made tote bags out of them. Each piece is about a yard and they didn't have any spots or defection in the fabric.

My fabric was awesome. it matched so well. I am going to make a Tennessee quilt out of the fabric. Great quality.

The fabric I received was great, lots of fun patterns and colors. We have a young dog who loves to chew on pillows, this fabric was perfect for making new covers. I made 2 new covers from the red/white and black/white dot fabric and made 2 others using the green zig zig with some fabric I already had. The gray zig zag will be a couple of cushions for our patio chairs. I will use the black giraffe (and maybe the football) to make some fabric baskets for some neighborhood kids. Still looking for ideas for the large cut of burlap. The 'goody bag' was lots of fun, the hand written note was a great touch. I will order again.

This was my first order from Warehouse Fabrics. I ordered 3 lbs of assorted cotton drapery plus several lengths of fabric by the yard. I placed my order late at night last Thursday and it was shipped the next morning! I received my order today, Tuesday, which is much faster than the big name retail fabric store I usually use. The fabric I ordered by the yard was exactly as described, and of high quality. The assortment was a nice mix of good to great quality remnants, in attractive prints and colors. I will be making throw pillows, tote bags, and placemats from this fabric, and it is perfect for those projects. There was also a note included encouraging me to ask if I have more specific colors or types of prints in mind, which no other store does when selling remnants, in my experience. Overall, I feel like this fabric was a good value, and I would recommend this site to anyone looking for good quality fabric at a reasonable price. I will definitely be ordering both by the pound and by the yard fabric from Warehouse Fabrics again.

I was given this site as a tip since I am a newbie to sewing. I wanted to start a fabric stash and bought 5 lbs of this fabric. I got the best assortment of fabric - I am so excited and want to order more now! The fabrics are all laid out in my sewing room and I just keep looking at them. Can't wait to buy more! DEFINITELY recommend. You can't go wrong! Get something you don't like? Sell or swap it - so many people willing to do it.

I was a little leery of ordering fabric by mail--I like to feel the texture and weight before buying--but I was more than completely and utterly impressed by the quality and weight and patterns that I was sent. I was so excited that I actually pulled out each piece of my 7 lb order to show my husband and coo over how much I loved it! Then I went next door to show my neighbor and her sister. Needless to say, I will be ordering more goody bags in the very near future!

I ordered fabric by the pound - the drapery fabric - and decided on a mixed of large and small pieces. I was very pleased with the mix of colors and sizes, which will work perfectly for the craft project I had in mind. There were several pieces of patterned bright reds and bright pinks with a couple neutrals. The reds will work very well for the holiday gifts I plan on making. Not knowing exactly how much was in a pound, I ordered 5 pounds and have a lot to work with.

Arrived earlier then expected. The selection was really nice. I had mentioned what I was making & the fabric was color coordinated. The only reason I cannot give this 5 stars is the lack an option for apparel fabric by the pound. The cotton drapery is nice, but more on the heavyweight side. I ordered a mixed selection and the pieces were larger than expected. I can still use it just not for my original plans. It would be grand to be able to select lightweight cotton. I can work with any patterns I get, its the fabric weight that matters most too me. I'm going to put in an order requesting lightweight fabrics. I'll let you know what I get! This was my first order with this company. I'm really impressed with the entire transaction & highly recommend them. Ifmthey ccontinue to deliever like this, then they have a customer for life!

The fabric didn't take long to get here, the pieces were alot larger than I had thought they would be. I should have specified what I was looking for, I got all pattern fabric, not into strips, like The American Flag, alot of that, have no idea what I am going to do with it. I got cheveron, strips, and tye dye fabric, don't care for those patterns, it was my fault I should have specified what i was hoping to get, I will figure out something to do with this fabric.

The quality and selection of fabrics was wonderful! I ordered multiple pounds and received very large pieces of high quality fabrics with fun patterns to use on craft projects. I will definitely order this product again.

I made a mistake of ordering "upholstery" instead of "cotton drapery" fabrics for my fabric by the pound. This is no fault of the company, however. I pray they will exchange it, though as I have no use for what I got. Therefore, I did not give three stars for my mistake as they delivered what I'd ordered. The reason I gave three stars is because these fabrics were so, well, ugly. One, in particular, I can't imagine anyone using since 1965. It is the ugliest I've ever seen as upholstery fabrics. I know you roll the dice when you order by the pound, but I thought they would at least be pretty as they were from another company when I ordered the "mystery box." Learned my lesson on carefully selecting fabric type. I'll probably try again, though.

These were shipped and arrived within 3 days. I mentioned in the comments that I was decorating a baby boy's room and requested no pink or florals. I got a great selection of fabrics that will all work well for pillows, wall art, etc!

I asked for larger pieces, and the pieces were plenty large enough for projects like making bags, pocketbooks, ect. The quality is great.

Ordered 4 pounds of fabric and received more than 1 yard of 7 different cotton fabrics! After request of striped/checkered/floral or geometric they did not dissapoint and now I have a lot more to fabric for projects for such a great price! When I run out of this fabric, in a little while, I will definitely be ordering more by the pound from here!

So far I have bought fabric by the pound twice, It is such a great deal. Sometimes the fabric isn't anything I would choose, but no matter how ugly I might find it, I can always use it as a liner for projects. At the price you just can't beat it.

I was very pleased by the selection I was given. I mentioned that I prefer geometric patterns and bold shapes and they gave me only things that I love! I know there's no guarantee, but you may as well be as specific as you can be and you might get just want you want for very cheap!

The asst ends was perfect. I had a customer with a butter creme colored leather sofa.She requested I recover her throw pillows. I said a little prayer that the correct color would be in the assortment and it was. A beautiful gold and loden print. A nice piece of a poly blended gold tone. Perfect for my work order.

I requested upholstery, large pieces. I received a pleather-type remnant, and four upholstery remnants. The upholstery items were a solid deep red, and a solid deep green, a deep green/beige/brown triangle shapes pattern, and a gold/brown luxury type honeycomb pattern. So far I've made 1 large and 4 small pillow shams, a zipper bag, 4 placemats and coasters. Great deal!

I was wanting to make some bags for the summer but was on a limited budget. I saw the fabric by the pound and thought i would take the chance; so i ordered 7lbs of fabric. I was so surprised by the selection when I received by order! I was partially expecting fabric that you would see in my grandmas house but that wasn't the case at all. All the fabric I received was vibrant with great patterns, high quality and all was cut to very usable sizes. I will definitely be buying more in time!

All of the fabric I received was usable for making 20x20 pillows for rooms throughout my home. I received a pink polka dot fabric that I used for my daughter's room, a variety of aqua prints that were perfect for our living room couch pillows, and some prints in gray that are perfect in our guest room. I am pleased with this order and the value is unmatched.

I got several chevron, 2 gingham plus a large piece of white fabric. I expected more variety! At least one little bit of a print would have helped! I will give away ALL of the chevrons to Goodwill. I will keep the 2 gingham pieces which I can cut small and work them into a scrappy quilt. I will probably dye the white fabric because it�s too plain for the back of a quilt. I definitely picked the wrong place to shop and won�t return.

I enjoyed the variety that was sent to me. I received a variety of fabrics that suited my needs of making my shopping bags. What I did not like was there was one piece that was clearly a remnant by the way it was cut. I ended up using that piece as a quilt piece base. Other than that, I have no complaints. I will be placing more orders in the future.

I bought 5 pounds of black & white remnant fabric to make throw pillow covers with and couldn't be happier. After seeing all the other positive reviews, I ordered 3 lbs of the assorted colors option. I received an assortment of fabrics that were well coordinated, ranging from 1/2 yd to over 1 yd pieces. Although I would not have picked some of the fabrics myself, I know I will be able to use all of them. Well worth the price!

The fabric seems to be of good quality and the prints are cute. Only negative was that I selected orange as one of my colours, but received red.

I have ordered both the black and white fabrics and the assorted. I got great usable pieces from 1/2 yard to just over a yard. There were some tiny flaws on a couple of pieces that did not bother me at all. The patterns are very pretty with no ugly pieces. I have sewed just about all of what I got into saddle bags, horn bags and totes. I will order this again.

Ordered the cotton drapery prints and got a beautiful selection of colors and prints that seem very coordinated as well as current fabric trends. The fabric seems to be a heavy weight indoor/outdoor canvas. I purchased this for several craft projects I have in mind. I couldn't be more pleased and look forward to more orders in the future.

I ordered 6lbs specifically in grey and orange colors and that's what I got. Each pieces are of good quality and matched. Someone must have taken the time to make sure each pieces go together. I have one piece large enough to reupholster a settee. Can't wait to work on that project.

I think that sunglass holder is such a great idea...I have never seen that before. It reminds me of the shoe holders somewhat, but you need to market that for us that do not know how to sew. I wish you lived near me.

Getting fabric prints by the pound is like getting the grab bag at the fair, only I wasn't disappointed in this one. The fabrics are nice, bright, current and best of all they all seem to go great together. What a treat!

I ordered the black and white combo as well as the colored combo, and the fabrics were beautiful. Saves a fortune when all you need is a 1/2 yard and I personally love surprises so opening the box to see what was selected for my order was just fun!!

Great assortment of popular fabrics

I have ordered several fabric by the pound packages in the last few weeks and it is the most fun I've ever had with fabric. The orders came all color coordinated and the pieces are large enough to make something special. Pillows, quilts, lined tote bags and slip covers for Parsons chairs are my first projects. The fabric is sturdy and has a good feel and some texture. I have prewashed and dried it all without a problem. Fun for experimenting .

I ordered the drapery fabric prints by the lb in both colors and black and white. I was expecting okay fabrics for such a cheap price. But let me tell you these fabrics are beautiful. As other reviewers have stated, it almost seemed like they really took the time to color co-ordinate the lot. I am very impressed and will be re-ordering more fabric to fill my home with color!!

When I first purchased this assortment I felt I was definitely taking a chance, however for only $5.00 I thought to myself, "it is only 5 bucks, give it a try". What a thought. I eagerly anticipated the arrival of my order, called my friend when it came and we opened my box together. Surprised? Pleasantly. Definitely. Can't wait to order again. I measured it out...over 9 yards of fabric, all of the pieces were 2/3 of a yard or more, and there were coordinating prints. No junk, every single piece was in the catalog listed at $7.47. I ordered these based on the other reviews. Boy were they right! I received a wonderful color coordinated selection. The pieces were generously sized. Large enough to use for a handbag, tote or pillow. It was obvious that someone took care when selecting my "by the pound".

I wanted several different fabrics but didn't want to pay a lot. So I googled by the pound fabrics and found this website. I bought one of each, assorted colors pack and black and white pack. I am very happy with both as I not only quilt, I make pillows and sew dolls clothes for my daughter. The fabric looks like I paid $10 or more for the yard, so I'm happy with the price.

The print on the fabrics were beautiful! I did not see what I was getting before I ordered it because it just comes randomly by the pound. Every piece that came was something that I would have picked out myself and the quality of fabric was high. Great product!

I have bought both color and b/w by the pound. I really do like most of their picks, especially the geometrics, but there are a few that I am not sure what to do with yet. All in all, it's a great deal, and kind of fun to open it up to see what I got. I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future.

As previous reviewers said, this is a great bargain. All except one looked to me like first quality bolt ends. Some are creased, but can be washed to release the creases. I plan to buy more!

I wanted some fun fabrics for a few smaller craft projects I wanted to finish up (fabric liners for basket totes.) For $5, I figured I couldn't go wrong. I had no preference on color, so this worked out perfectly. The fabric was all good quality, large cuts so I had plenty to work with, and it was all fun with a good assortment. It seems that someone took some time to coordinate the fabrics, as well, because everything I got worked well together. I ordered both the black and white and the color. Both were adorable. I will be making some handbags out of the leftovers!

I've ordered the Premier Prints "by the pound" fabrics a few times. Each time I get a different selection and quite a few large pieces. Every now and then I'll find pieces with flaws that I have to work around, but overall good quality. The one fabric that I always cringe at when I get it in the bundle is toile ... ugh, hate toile!

I wasn't sure what I would recieve in this order, but I am a fabric addict and could not resist the great price! Needless to say, I was pleased! I felt like the shipment had been customized to me. This was my first purchase from Warehouse Fabrics, but will not be my last!!

I am a big fan of premier fabrics.I thought Id take a chance and hope I'd get colors I can use,but it didnt work out that way.Since we cant request colors anymore.It'S not worth it to me to buy by the pound anymore.

I liked the big pieces, but was expecting more fat quarter quilt like pieces. This fabric is heavier more useful for tote bags! I can't wait til I can get some made.

I ordered this in colors and Black and White. What a treat! I was nervous about now knowing what to expect but I am a new sewer so i figured whatever it was could use it to practice...I got my package and LOVED everything. Cool modern prints which gave me tons of ideas for small projects such as bags and skirts(yes make simple skirtsout of this stuff and I think they are SO CUTE)

Iam making tote bags for my chuch's craft fair, and these were perfect, just as described. At least a half yard and most more, not all perfect, but for our needs, totally useable. And you can't beat the price.
