CONTEST CLOSED. Winner: ROSE

Note: you must put each entry in its own comment in order to get the separate entry points. The drawing is automated.

Note 2: The first two entries are easy for anyone to answer. The third is just an extra entry. If you don’t have a Facebook account (or an account for whatever we are doing that month), then you still get two options to enter. Part of what makes the Internet great is the ability to share and pass on. That’s why we have a social media option each time.

1. 1 entry – Share a favorite product from our website and suggest a use for it.

2. 1 entry – Tell us what you’d like to see a sewing-related tutorial about.

3. 3 entries – Follow us on Pinterest (click here) and provide a link to your user name in the comments (will be verified) — you must leave three separate comments for this one so that they all count as separate entries.

Good luck, everyone! Contest ends Monday, January 27, 2014, at 10 a.m. MDT. Each entry can only be completed once by each entrant. Winner has 48 hours to respond to email notification or new winner will be drawn. Winner’s first and last name and city/state will be provided by winner for use on our site.

  1. I would use the Moscatel Cherry to make a great little clutch with a huge red felt flower pinned to it!!

  2. I have been a total sucker for Chevron lately.. I love the black and white one, it’d make a great cushion cover!

  3. Some sort of lamp shade tutorial might be nice to see, you have so many trims that would look great on one!

  4. I am using the Hooty Wisteria for the outer portion of my bumper pads on my little girl’s crib bedding.

  5. I love the Kukula Noir fabric, great fabric for people who want the contemporary look for their home. I used it to make some throw pillows to redecorate my living room, everyone who comes over compliments them and loves them! They think I paid top dollar for them 😉

  6. I would love a tutorial on crib bedding! I love the idea of customizing my baby’s crib bedding, make it a one of a kind nursery. I’m due in August so lots of time for me to sew!

  7. I would love to see a page dedicated to quick tips on the blog, for things like “sewing with sequins” or “jersey fabrics” or “perfect corners” things like that… maybe guest tutorials!

  8. The solid linen drapery weight fabrics have great color clarity and always make for simple, classic panels with a pinch pleat top. If you have a fabric that has a busy pattern and are worried it may take over the room the linen solids are a perfect pairing that calms a pattern down.

  9. I love the chevron cotton fabric… combining some other fabric(s), this would make a cute dress for my daughter.

  10. As for the tutorial portion… I would love to see something along the lines of tablet covers. (Various sizes, different fabrics, appliques, embroidery designs, etc.)

  11. I love your remnant section because there’s always treasure found there! I’d love to use them to make a fabric scrap wreath, patchwork pillow cases, or even really cute bunting!

  12. I would love to something on embroidery, or even more upholstery tutorials. I have 2 chairs that desperately need recovering and I’d love to do it myself….with the help from you guys. 🙂

  13. Favorite item: I love minky fabric for baby quilts, and I would like to try making a stuffed toy with it.

  14. I’d like to see tutorials/tips on sewing burlap. Ive seen some burlaps with cute designs printed on them, like vintage newspaper ads.
