1. 1 entry – Share a favorite NON-FABRIC product from our website. Check out some of the other offerings we have!

2. 1 entry – Tell us what you and/or your kids are going to be for Halloween. If you’re not dressing up, you can tell us that, too! Do you prefer to buy store-bought costumes or make your own (through sewing or just thrift-stores/crafting etc.)?

Good luck, everyone! Contest ends Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 10 a.m. MDT. Each entry can only be completed once by each entrant. 1. No halloween costumes. I just made some curtains with the carnival/grapevine fabric I bought from you recently, and will be making more curtains for the next room.

  2. My favorite non-fabric item is the different kinds of trim work. I recently purchased the 606ZF-B Beaded Fringe Toffee and added extra buttons to match my fabric, between the beadwork, and it turned out absolutely beautiful. I am lucky enough to not only order from this great place online, but to live close enough to visit with them personally. They are the greatest at helping me figure out the perfect thing I need.

  3. Unfortunately, my trick-or-treating days are over, as both my children are grown. Maybe I will be able to do it again with grandchildren some day. But, when my children were at the trick-or-treating age, we first of all hit the thrift stores to find the “bones” of our costumes. Then, we would come to Warehouse Fabrics to get the “extras” of the costume so we could go home and make it the way we wanted. My children had some really cool costumes through the years, thanks to this store and our local thrifts. We had tons of fun picking out the perfect costume for the year!

  4. Your wonderful trim is my favorite non-fabric item. Trim just adds so much to almost anything from fabric baskets to clothing.

  5. I no longer dress up for Halloween but I have twin grandchildren due in April so next Halloween will be so much fun! I may even start dressing up again.

  6. My kids are going to be anakon skywalker, luigi and tinkerbell for Halloween. I made the luigi and tinkerbell costumes and it was my first year to make costumes. It was a lot of fun πŸ™‚

  7. I hadn’t ever checked out your non fabric items and was excited to see you had curtain tie backs! Very cool!

  8. My kids are older so they won’t have costumes or may make their own, but I’m going as a mad scientist!

  9. I like the Arrowhead Hold Backs. They match rods I already have and would look much better than the cloth ones I am using.

  10. I’m still trying to figure out what I’ll wear to work for Halloween. My kids are grown, but one will be a pirate. Making my own is much better!

  11. My Pinterest –http://www.pinterest.com/suzannebeyer/following/
    Shows me following Warehouse Fabrics.

  12. My youngest son will be a Mummy. It a homemade one, from sheets that were tea dyed ( for age ) then ripped across. I took the strips and sewed them to a premade sweatshirt and sweatpants. Added some extras hanging down to make it look authentic. The head piece was the hardest part, but turned out great. I highly recommend this to any crafty parent. It creates a comfy, warm costume which is sometimes hard to come by.

  13. I like the brushed cording, that looks like a pretty pink, but is called cinnamon. I would be a pretty trim on a upholstered chair in a girly bedroom.

  14. I always buy my kids costumes. I don’t have much sewing skills or patience to try and make them. My girls will be princesses and my son will be a firefighter.

  15. Not dressing up for Halloween but for Purim we made homemade caps dr sale costumes it ws a big hit!

  16. My daughter is going at My Little Pony “Flyttershy”. I am sewing the costume for her. We have a Halloween party every year for our kids and this year there will be a fog machine and a dance floor!

  17. I love drapery hardware and pretty trimmings! I always look for the extra stuff when I’m at Home Fabrics. The pillow forms are great too!

  18. My Daughter (4) is going to be a bunny, with drawn on whiskers and a bunny nose too. My son (2) will be a ninja turtle or iron man. He’s having a hard time picking between the two. For the kids costumes i prefer store bought because they can chose whatever they want. As for myself, i prefer making my own by shopping at thrift stores, and i will be making my husbands costume as well this way. This year i will be Material Girl Madonna. Very fun costume! My husband will be a Sons of Anarchy Biker. We are both very excited to be dressing up with the kids this year.

I’ve only purchased fabric from you guys, but the DIY flower pin cushions look adorable! πŸ™‚

  20. 2. 1 entry – Tell us what you and/or your kids are going to be for Halloween. If you’re not dressing up, you can tell us that, too! Do you prefer to buy store-bought costumes or make your own (through sewing or just thrift-stores/crafting etc.)?

I’m going as Katniss Everdeen in her interview (wedding) gown from the upcoming sequel to the Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire. I’m hand pleating and hand ruffling a bunch of fabric which I will then attach to a plain white homecoming gown that I have leftover from high school.

  21. I’m not dressing up..but I just got back from the store and saw the most adorable tutu bumble bee costume. Wish I still had little ones to dress up.

  22. I have not purchased anything but fabric but I am looking at the curtain holdbacks for my curtains that I am going to sew.

  23. I’m not dressing up this year but my oldest daughter wants to be a witch and my two youngest are going to be Princess and the Frog. I usually like to make the costumes when possible πŸ™‚

  24. I want to dress my little girl as a witch, I intend to use pass-me-down clothes and use tulle for the squirt. I generally like making their costume but time run s out then i go ahead and buy a costume.
